Role and Function

A library is most indispensable part of a college. Besides being the store house of books, it is also a store house of knowledge. The committee should look to the following aspects-

a) To create a book-culture among students. 

b) To keep themselves busy in the library instead of whiling away precious times.

c) To provide & facilitate modem books, journals, newspapers so as to attract them. 

d) If not digitalize, the library may be computerized for convenience. 

e) To select and scrutinize items/books so as to help the authority while making any new purchase.
